Our Academies

JUDO JIMS Academies are currently running in three locations;

JUDO JIMS Judo Academy - Ashford - South Ashford Youth Centre - TN23 5BD 

JUDO JIMS Judo Academy  - Gillingham - Roko Health Club - ME8 6BY.

JUDO JIMS Judo Academy - West Kingsdown Village Hall - TN15 6BZ

We also facilitate Judo Academies in partnership with a number of schools across Kent, offering Judo courses before, during and after school. These Judo Academies are aligned with the Kent Children's University standard, allowing us to validate pupils passports.

Our Gillingham Judo Academy was the 

first Judo club within the UK to achieve the national  Club Mark Award 

under its new criteria of the British Judo Association (BJA). 

We are also a national and regional award winning Judo club, being recognised and achieving a 

"National Community Judo Club of The Year Award 2017".

Judo Jims Judo Academies have qualified for and are holders of the British Judo Associations 

'Approved Provider' scheme. 

Judo Jims Academies are also holders of the prestigious

Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts.

At JUDO JIMs  Judo Academies we promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all Judoka who step onto the Tatami (Judo mat). In every lesson we aim for the Judoka to not only learn the Olympic sport of Judo, but also come away from the lessons with increased knowledge and understanding of the core values of Judo.
