All of our Club Coaches are fully qualified in line with the standards set out by the British Judo Association.
Our Club Coaches are also holders of enhanced DBS certificates, as well as being First Aid trained and qualified to ensure peace of mind while your Judoka (Judo Practitioner) are on the Tatami (Judo Mat) learning with us.
At Judo Jim, we promote and encourage self development which is demonstrated by some of our Judoka undertaking their budding coaching aspirations by taking and running classes but, this is always facilitated under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Club Coach.
Judo Jim academies are the continuation of a national and regional award winning Judo Club structured in a way to encourage children and adults alike from the age of 5 years and up to take part in the Olympic Sport of Judo, in a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment.
Judo Jim and his Academies aspire to deliver the sport of Judo that fosters the ethos of Judo "The Gentle Way" whilst also capturing the imagination of his pupils to carry on some of the main principles of Judo into their later lives; Respect, Discipline and Courtesy to those around them.
